As a 25-year-old man dealing with TED Talk depression, I know how difficult it can be to find hope. The pressure to constantly achieve and compare ourselves to others can be overwhelming. However, I’ve also come to realize that there is hope in seeking support and finding healthy coping mechanisms. It’s important to remember that it’s okay to not be okay, and reaching out for help is a sign of strength, not weakness. Whether it’s talking to a therapist, joining a support group, or finding solace in creative outlets, there are ways to navigate through this difficult time. We are not alone in our struggles, and it’s important to lean on the support of others. Keep pushing through, and know that there is light at the end of the tunnel.
