Hello everyone, at 41 years old, I’ve been dealing with the effects of cumulative trauma on my mental health. It’s been a long and difficult road, but I’m finally starting to see some light at the end of the tunnel. It’s not easy, and some days are still a struggle, but I’ve been working on finding healthy coping mechanisms and seeking out professional help. I’ve learned that it’s okay to not be okay all the time, and that healing takes time. I’ve also found a supportive community here, and that has made a world of difference. So to anyone else out there dealing with the same thing, just know that it’s possible to find hope and healing, even in the darkest of times.
