As a 29-year-old man dealing with gaming disorder, I’ve realized that it’s important to find a balance in my life. Gaming has always been a passion of mine, but I also recognize the negative impact it can have on my mental health. I’ve started setting limits for myself, such as only playing for a certain amount of time each day and taking breaks to engage in other activities. It hasn’t been easy, and there have been setbacks, but I’m committed to prioritizing my mental well-being. I’ve also found support through therapy and online communities, which have been incredibly helpful in my journey towards recovery. It’s a process, but I believe that with dedication and support, I can find a healthy balance and learn to enjoy gaming in a way that doesn’t negatively impact my mental health.
