Dealing with stress and my mental health

Lately, I’ve been really struggling with my mental health and dealing with stress. It’s like all of the worry that usually builds up in a person comes out in me in big ways. I’ve had to learn how to better manage it and take care of myself so I don’t get overwhelmed.

I’ve started by meditating, doing some mindful activities, and practicing cognitive behavioral therapy techniques when I start to feel anxious or overwhelmed. One of the main things I’m trying to do is talk about how I’m feeling instead of bottling it up inside. Connecting with others who understand what I’m going through is an incredibly helpful way for me to cope with whatever challenges life throws my way.

If you’re going through something similar, know that you’re not alone - there are plenty of loving resources out there to help us work through our issues together. Don’t be afraid to reach out if you need help.
